Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CodeHub ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, web console, desktop companion application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and any profile details you provide.
- Usage data: records of tool-calls made through the Service, conversation history between you and connected AI agents, MCP session metadata (such as session start/end times, connected engine type, and pairing status), and general activity logs used for security and troubleshooting.
- Billing data: subscription plan, billing history, and payment status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number or other raw payment card data on our servers.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar diagnostic information collected automatically when you use the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including establishing and managing sessions between your game engine and AI agents;
- Process subscription billing and manage your account;
- Monitor, enforce, and improve reliability, performance, and usage quotas;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and service-related announcements.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Third-party AI providers: when you use an AI agent through the Service, the relevant portions of your request and project context are routed to the AI model provider you selected (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible providers, or Venice.ai) in order to generate a response. These providers process this data under their own privacy and data-handling terms.
- Payment processing: billing and payment details are shared with Stripe to process subscriptions and payments.
- Service providers: we may share information with infrastructure and analytics providers who help us operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process or protect the rights, property, or safety of CodeHub, our users, or others.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information for a limited period after account deletion where necessary for legal, billing, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may access, update, export, or delete your personal information at any time. Account and profile details can be managed directly from your account Settings, which also includes an option to permanently delete your account and associated data. If you need further assistance exercising your rights, you can contact us using the details below.
6. Cookies and Session Data
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language), and maintain the security of your session. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect the functionality of the Service.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption at rest for sensitive fields such as API keys and pairing secrets, encryption in transit, and support for two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 where applicable). If we become aware that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our infrastructure providers or third-party AI providers operate. When we transfer data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and, where changes are material, we will provide additional notice through the Service or by email.
