Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CodeHub (the "Service"), operated by CodeHub ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, web console, desktop companion application, and any related tools that connect AI agents to game engines such as Roblox Studio, Unity, Godot, and Unreal Engine via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CodeHub, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 10 below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

CodeHub is a platform that lets game developers connect AI agents (such as Claude, GPT, and other compatible models) to their game engine projects through a desktop companion app and a web console. The Service enables an AI agent to read and modify project data, execute tool-calls, and interact with a live editor session, subject to the permissions and limits associated with your account and subscription plan.

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, and we may impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service without notice.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

CodeHub offers a Free plan and one or more paid plans (including a "Pro" plan), each with different limits on concurrent desktop sessions, monthly tool-call quotas, and available AI models. Details of each plan are described on our pricing page and may change over time.

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Changes generally take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.
  • Fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us and we will review the matter in good faith.
  • We may change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with rate limits, quotas, security features, or usage restrictions of the Service;
  • Use an AI agent to generate, upload, or execute malicious code, or to make unauthorized destructive changes to a project without appropriate review;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized third-party access to the Service; or
  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the infrastructure of the Service or of third-party AI providers we integrate with.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, and to enforce reasonable rate limits and quotas to protect the stability of the Service for all users.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain all ownership rights to your game projects, source files, assets, and any other content you connect to or process through the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to access, store, and process Your Content solely to the extent necessary to operate and provide the Service to you, including relaying relevant context to AI agents you have authorized.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the necessary rights to use and share it through the Service, including any content generated by an AI agent that you choose to apply to your project.

7. Third-Party AI Providers

The Service routes certain requests to third-party AI model providers in order to generate responses and perform tool-calls on your behalf. These providers process the data necessary to fulfill your requests under their own applicable terms. We select providers we believe offer reasonable data handling practices, but we do not control their infrastructure and are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will always be accurate, safe, or suitable for your purposes. You are responsible for reviewing changes made by an AI agent before applying them to your project, particularly destructive or irreversible changes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeHub and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, though certain provisions of these Terms (such as limitation of liability and ownership of Your Content) will survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or our business practices. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
